Greetings everyone! I have news.... some good, some bad. First the good. I have had an experience that has changed my life and caused me to rethink who I am and why I am here. It was a life altering experience and it is good! Like I said I have been rethinking my existence and have come to the conclusion that I am not where God wants me, nor am I fulling my role here. So to add in the bad....but really not so bad....the nature of my painting will be taking a new direction. More inspirational, more compassion, more meaning and purpose. There are so many emotions flowing through me and I have but to put them on paper to encourage and give hope. So having said that, I will be selling off my previous originals and all that is assoiciated in preparation for a new website. I will be selling these at drastically reducied prices and a portion of the proceeds will go to a worthy cause....there are so many that it is hard to choose! There is an artist that I encountered recently that runs a ministry called NOU or No One Underground. They help teens to discover their purpose, find love in a loveless world and build up their self-esteem where there is no one else. They do this through art and poetry and the dramatic arts. I believe in what they are doing and will start there. I of course will still be creating works of art on gourds and I don't believe that those will change much except maybe more poetry and inspiration connected to the artwork. I have alot of work to do before I can unveil a new wesite so for now that portion of my website will be closed till further notice and the regular portion will have all sale items on it. Once they are gone....they are gone. I hope you all understand and quite possibly you will enjoy the new works of art to come. I am aiming for Labor Day since that is my next show so if there is anything left from the sale, I will have a clearance bin at the show with what is left. I hope to see you there to celebrate this new direction!
