Faerie Houses
Each Faerie house is pyrographed (woodburned) from a gourd that was home grown and lovingly tended. After each gourd is prepared, a sketch is drawn, according to how the faerie who lives there would like it to look. Then occasionally, watercolor or leather dye accents are added. After the paint or dye has dried, 2 coats of weather resistant polyurethane is applied so that your faerie house will live on through the elements in it's natural setting! When that is dry, beaded accents are added (sometimes other things....it's all individual!) and a tag with a story about the Faerie who lives there is added (the story is next to each picture below), as well as coordinating ribbon, for it to hang from it's determined spot in nature! Each house is designed individually and as such should be considered a one of a kind piece of art! Please set these faerie houses anywhere you would like the inhabitant to grace your world!
