Pyrography is the art of burning images onto different types of medium (wood, leather, gourds, paper) Each piece is done individually by the artist so no two pieces are alike. Wooden Journal
This journal has been pyrographed beautifully with an ancient tree with mushrooms resting comfortably at its base! The window displays a bright starry night and "Believe" in scrapbook style. There is alot of texture to this piece! Watercolor mixed with powered pigments were used to paint the mushrooms and the grass beneath. The inside of the cover has been finished with red velvet to match
the mushrooms! Inside the
pages are unruled to allow for
sketching along with your
thoughts!

in diameter and 4 1/2" high.
A traditional celtic design
has been pyrographed into
the top along with 4 small
celtic designs on the sides.
The inside has been finished with black flocking and black felt finishes the bottom. A hand rubbed finish protects the whole box....inside and out. A beautiful piece to place on any table!

Clutch Gourd Purse
This purse was fashioned from a very thick gourd that was grown in California. The inside bottom was left the natural color and protected with a poly resin coating so that it is smooth. The lid is green as shown in the picture. The hinge and pull are made from leather and a celtic button adorns the flap. A very strong magnectic clasp has been secured it to ensure that the purse does not open when tilted. A very unique piece......
